For larger problems, there are five versions of PDE2D available, through permanent licenses.   The first (UNIX) version is distributed as source code, while the other versions are distributed in object code form.

Here is the order form for all versions.

  1. A UNIX version, which is distributed in portable Fortran90 source code form, and thus will run on virtually any UNIX system with a Fortran90 compiler. The UNIX version will run efficiently on multiprocessor machines, under MPI: there are MPI calls commented out which are activated by removing all occurrences of "C#" in the source.

  2. Windows version (64 bit library), which requires Intel Fortran v11.

  3. Windows version (32 bit library), which requires GNU GFortran.

  4. MacOSX version (64 bit library), which requires GNU GFortran.

  5. Linux version (64 bit library), which requires GNU GFortran.

You should install the free trial version before purchasing the unlimited size version. Once the trial version is working on your system, you can be sure the product will also, and upgrading to the unlimited version will be trivial.
